We’re happy to release a new format for the content you can design with Epiphany: slides!
These are a very commonly used content format, and they’ll be especially useful if you’re designing live or blended courses with a facilitator.
To use them, you can simply add content to a module and pick the slide option:
Notice how the duration of a piece of content supported by slides can be very long: this is because they are meant to be used in a live session where a facilitator is leading the session.
This is how the slides will look like in the storyboard stage:
Each slide has some content, and the facilitator notes. Slides can have titles, content, and suggestion for images. Epiphany will pick the ideal slide type based on the content.
As for (almost) everything in Epiphany, the Explore and Ask function will allow you to tweak the slides as you wish!
Once you’re happy with your course, you can export the slides too.
The content of the slides will be reported in the PDF, Word and Excel export formats too, but we believe you’ll love the other two options:

Some of our users found that the Explore and Ask function (E&A) struggle handling some complex change requests during in the outline stage.
For instance, if someone asked to change the mode of a 5 minutes online async module to in person, the E&A might forget updating the course duration, which is a bit absurd (no one would do a 5-minute in person training…).
