We’re back with another round of updates from Epiphany HQ — and these ones are all about making collaboration and handoff smoother than ever.

💬 Commenting & Notifications

Collaboration just got a major upgrade. You can now leave comments for your collaborators directly on specific parts of your design and discuss your design with them.

Wherever you see the 💬 icon in Epiphany, you can now add a comment to that specific section. Even better: you’ll get notified when someone responds, so the conversation never gets lost.

Think of the new collaboration feature as sticky notes for your design process — but faster, clearer, and always in the right spot.

Balancing Collaboration and Security

As with every Epiphany feature, we’ve built this in close collaboration with our enterprise customers to ensure we uphold the highest standards of security and data protection:

• Epiphany doesn’t make hyperlinks clickable by default. This ensures that every link click is intentional, not accidental, preventing access to unsafe or confidential links while still keeping collaboration seamless and secure.
• To protect confidential content, only existing Epiphany users can view courses by default. If you’d like to share a course with someone who doesn’t have a licence yet, just reach out and we will create a guest account for them. We’re also working on an admin dashboard that will let you manage guest access yourself soon!

📃 Production Notes in the Storyboard

Handing off a design for production should feel effortless. With our new production notes feature, you can add clear instructions (like “Make this an accordion”) right inside specific sections of your storyboard.

These notes travel with your design and show up in your exported storyboard, making it easier than ever for your production team to bring your design vision to life:
